There’s no secret, a well performing bike is a bike that’s well maintained. We often ride in harsh conditions and come back covered with dirt. Isn’t that why it’s called a dirt bike?

A well maintained electric motorcycle is performant and secure. That’s why regular care is a no brainer. All the more since e-dirt bikes are so simple to maintain. Use moto wash and chain cleaner to help remove encrusted dirt and always lubricate your bike after every wash.

Lubrication repels water, prevents parts from rusting and makes sure everything is silky smooth: chain, bearings and suspension stanchions are the prime candidates. PTFE lubricant for the stanchions, wax spray for the chain and lithium grease for the bearings. And from time to time, don’t hesitate to spray some silicon polish on the bike’s plastics and metal parts. It will leave a transparent, anti-corrosion film to protect metals and nourish plastic components.
