Spring rate guide

The spring rate is a key factor that defines the shock’s stiffness and is influenced by your weight, personal preference, and riding style. If you lean towards smooth and mellow enduro rides, a lighter spring might be your choice. However, for aggressive riders and MX enthusiasts, opting for a slightly higher level is advisable.

Consider your bike upgrades when choosing the right spring rate. For instance, if you’ve installed an aftermarket battery, it could have added an extra 10 kg (20lbs) to your bike. Personally, I (Cyprien) prefer solid support, so I chose the 500 lbs spring, considering my weight of 80kg (175 lbs).
