The stock Sur Ron Light Bee upper bearing measures nearly 2.5 cm (1″) in height, posing an issue for non-inverted forks (Fox, Marzocchi, Ohlins…), as it results in a loss of 1 to 2 cm of travel.

The BlackBearing is a Zero Stack (6 mm) bearing that shaves almost 2 cm off the original height. This allows for the total recovery of the lost stroke and a clearance gain with the top of the tyre, either with inverted or regular forks – a game-changer for those cruising on 21-inch wheels.

This reduced height allows for the full travel of standard MTB forks like the Fox 40, Marzocchi Bomber, Olhins DH38 without having to change the upper crown. You’ll also be able to install the EXT fork with a 21″ wheel without the drop crown: a huge plus for smaller pilots and those wanting to enjoy the 21″ wheel without rising the front too much.

Manufactured in France by BlackBearing using top of the line 6061 aluminum, BlackBearing upper bearings are meticulously machined by experts and two-wheel enthusiasts.

Lightweight, sturdy, and built to last, the bearings sport a sleek black anodized finish – not just for looks but also to shield them during your adventures. Waterproof and easily swappable, they not only prolong their own life but also save you some bucks since you won’t need to swap out the whole part when it’s time to maintain.
