The Sur Ron Light Bee Rear Suspension Triangle linkage absorber is the part connecting the main frame to the rear suspension linkage. This is the standard factory part.

It is subject to huge forces and some riders have experienced breakage on hard landings as the metal weakens due to repetitive stress. The eyelets also tend to become oval over time. This is especially noticable when you lift the rear of the bike as there is some play appearing at the end of the suspension travel, making the bike less precise to handle.

Consider a replacement if you notice any sign of aging, especially as this is an essential part of the bike.

If you ride hard or if you weight more than 70kg, you might want to consider a reinforced triangle.
