These NSK Bearing Seals are made of high quality nitrile polymer and will outlast your bearings by a long shot.

You don’t necesarily need to change them when you service your bearings. Nevertheless, they are the only barrier between your bearings and contaminants like dust and water, so if you notice a damaged or worn out seal, you better replace it.
