Description
Our Super 80 Sur Ron Battery is a game-changer for those who demand the best in speed and power. With the ability to deliver 3 times the power of the original battery, while fitting into the bike‘s battery compartment with just a hook riser, this battery is designed for the ultimate riding experience. With a 77% increase in capacity, you’ll be able to go further than ever before, whether you’re venturing into uncharted territories or pushing the limits on the track.
Built by hand in France using only the highest-quality A-grade Samsung cells, this Sur Ron battery is able to deliver massive power output while maintaining its capacity for years to come. Cyprien and I have put our packs to the test in extreme conditions, from -20°C in the snow to +40°C in the dust, and they’ve never let us down.
The battery is encased in a sleek, robust stainless-steel case for top-notch protection and features an integrated handle for easy manipulation, as well as a built-in digital screen for real-time monitoring. This ultra-high-end Sur Ron battery is the ultimate choice for those who demand the best in speed, power, and endurance.
Range
When it comes to determine the range of your battery, it can vary depending on various factors such as the type of terrain you ride on, the elevation you’re climbing, and the rider’s weight.
However, our Mega 80 Sur Ron Battery brings significant improvements in both capacity and efficiency, allowing you to double your range.
3564Wh of capacity compared to the mere 1843Wh of the stock pack,
way better cell chemistry dissipating less energy into heat when riding hard.
You can expect to ride around 80km if you were previously able to ride 40km with the stock pack. In addition, the integrated LCD screen allows you to check the battery’s status in both percentages and volts, so you can be sure to know when it’s time to recharge.
Power
The 80V Mega 80 pack is designed for use with high-power controllers, such as the Nucular 24F, Sintech and KO Pro. It delivers a steady 17kW of power, making it suitable for technical enduro singles, challenging tracks, and high-speed situations.
The 80V tension improves efficiency by keeping your controller and motor at optimal temperatures while allowing for higher motor RPMs. The top speed and torque will depend on the controller and gearing used. That being said, if you ask me “how fast can it go?”, there’s only one answer: enough.
In addition, our batteries all come equipped with a state of the art bluetooth BMS, enabling direct visualisation of battery temperatures and cells voltages on your phone.
Safety
The programmable BT BMS monitors all of the pack’s parameters: from individual cell voltages to core temperature, we have fine-tuned everything to get the most out of our architecture in a safely manner. The BMS is in charge of safety and will reduce or cut current if required. For instance, it would damage the cells charging at freezing temperatures, so the BMS would prevent it.
The Voltage dilemma
We could debate for hours regarding what’s best between 60V, 72V and 80V. Long story short, the 60V battery will allow you to drastically increase the autonomy while retaining full compatibility with both the stock bike’s controller and charger.
On the other hand, delivering over 13kW with a 60V is near to impossible without overheating everyhting. That’s the very reason why Porsche went for an 800 Volts battery for its electric model.
That being said, all our batteries are top-notch in terms of power and capacity, so whatever your choice, it will rock you!

The battery uses the stock LB connector (pre 2024 version). We haven't updated the product page yet, but we also have QS8 versions as an option. You can order them already by just precising it in the order note 😉
Hi, does it come with QS8 connector and the cable set? Kind Regards Mathijs 1 answer

Hi, we rate the peak power at 15kW but it can go higher when above 50% SoC (I personally ride it at 18kW). Continuous doesn't mean much in our industry, it's a bit like asking how long a petrol engine can run in the red zone before breaking… That being said, you'll have no issue discharging at 100A continuous.
will this fit my ko motor and ko rush controller combo if u don't know then . do u ship to u.s?FL? and also would this fit a moto kit 4mf ? if u don't know then , this would fit the original cables that come stock right ? 1 answer

Hi, how does it work with the torp tc 500 controler? Do you get higher rpm`s / top speed, than with a 72V battery and is the original powertrain ok, or does it heat up, when you ride it hard? By the way the battery top looks so nice! Thanks 1 answer

Hi Dominik! Thanks for the kind words :) The higher the voltage the more efficiently it performs so the motor heats up less on the contrary. Nevertheless the TORP controller doesn't yet support 80V batteries. The hardware could do it but they limit the software at 85V.
Hi, can you tell me max and min voltage from the 80v battery 1 answer

A fully charged 80V is 92.4V while you can assume that at 60V you're at the end of the discharge (although you can go as low as 57V).

Hi, you can run this battery with the 72V hex file/firmware from KO. There are people even running 84V batteries. They work no problem with the 72V hex. Only thing to keep in mind is you need to set the low voltage cut-off higher for this battery with the pc software (or the old app). Or don't let the voltage sag beneath 60V.
Quentin
Hi Jerry. At the moment we cannot ship outside of Europe but we're working on that. Now regarding the KO setup, they advertise on their website their compatibility with up to 100V, but I haven't been able to get my hands on one so that's to be checked with them.

Hi Jerry. KO website states that they support up to 100V so based on their saying, it should work no problem. But we haven't been able to get on to try yet. Maybe ask their customer service to double check.
Hello, what happens to the ugly black multi-pole plug. Is it simply not plugged in? what changes as a result. have the torp tc500. will then no longer show the cell voltages, right? how is it activated? The key will then no longer work. Thank you L.G. David 1 answer

Hi David,
The "ugly" plug isn't used any more. It's just a data cable that sends information from the stock BMS to the stock controller. Aftermarket controllers don't need this as they get battery voltage (hence state of charge) directly from the power cable.
Cheers, Quentin

Hallo Mathias. The battery is just under 37cm so it fits the stock hatch with just a hook riser (that we provide, as seen on the photos).

Game changer!!
This battery took my Light Bee to whole new level, it is unbelievable the amount of power it delivers !!
Top speed test on road: 125Kph and it felt it could go further..and by the way this was a slight uphill road. Acceleration/ torque is insanely powerful !
With 48T OEM sprocket in some intermediate/hard enduro trails it will literally climb trees, almost no need to upgrade..with the 54T sprocket the thing turns evil and if you have the skill there’s almost no obstacle ahead of you !
In regards to range..my friends running stock batteries will run out of power when I am around 60 %…
Build quality is amazing, it will come with all the bits and pieces you need for installation which is very easy.
I also got the Super charger which will charge so quick that I really don’t need another battery to be honest. 20 minutes charge in between rides and I am always at 100 % !
Lovin it!!!!
I recommend this product

Hey Mario,

Absolute dynamite of a battery
absolute dynamite of a battery, way more power than is necessary. Even at 120kg, I struggle to keep the front down and will do 120kmph with me on – no problem.
My enduro friends can’t believe how much acceleration my bike has now, one saying that it pulls harder than his 450cc! Fits very nicely in the bike with only minor modifications.
Great option for anyone who wants an absolute monster machine with range for days. The supercharger is a must as will charge to full in around an hour. Great product
